Three Skills That Change Generated Design Output

UI/UX Design◆ Intermediate◆ Advanced@nateherkaisaved MAY 14

◇ Could this help me?

Yes, and the diagnosis is correct even if the specific skills are never installed. Generated interfaces look generic because with no direction the output converges on the most common patterns in the training data, so the fix is supplying specificity, whether through a skill, a reference, or a detailed brief. Naming motion as a separate concern is the sharpest part, since easing and timing are rarely specified and are a large part of why an interface feels unfinished. General practice, with the standard condition that each of these is third-party content installed into a tool with access to your work, so identify and read them before approval rather than installing a list from a short video.

My generated interfaces look generic and I want to understand why before installing anything. Take the last thing you built for me and tell me specifically which choices were defaults rather than decisions: layout, spacing, type scale, color roles, and motion. For each one, tell me what information from me would have changed it. Then help me write a short standing design brief covering those, so the direction exists before anything is generated. If adding a design skill would still help after that, name the candidates with their publishers and what they actually instruct, and wait for my approval before anything is installed.
